ShoWorks Updates

Special Notice - ShoWorks 2003 Users

ShoWorks fair management software and online entries.
Click here for more information about upgrading to ShoWorks 2006.  Scroll down to the bottom of this page for updates to ShoWorks 2006.

Updates for both ShoWorks 2003 and ShoWorks 2006 users

Please read the following completely before downloading any update file. Versions prior to ShoWorks 2003 are no longer supported.

All patches are cumulative and update any sub-version (i.e. you do not need to use prior patches).

To update your version of ShoWorks to the most recent, first find out if you already have the most current version by selecting "About ShoWorks" from the Help menu from within ShoWorks.

To update:

  1. Download the update patch by clicking on the file below (note where you place it -- you can download and then burn it to a CD if you would like to upgrade a different computer, thus taking the CD to another computer.)
  2. Make sure that you do NOT have ShoWorks running (ensure that you have exited ShoWorks).
  3. Locate the file that you just downloaded and double-click on it to run the patch.
  4. Click 'Ok'.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. Check to make sure you had a successful update by running ShoWorks and then selecting "Help", and then "About ShoWorks" from the menu bar. Note the version.

    For ShoWorks 2003 Users: SW2K3U10081.EXE (Version 10.08.1 - 4MB - released on 2/5/05)

    For ShoWorks 2006 Users: SW2K6U1110.EXE (Version 11.10 - 7MB - released on 3/17/07)
It is recommended that you update to this latest patch. Click Here for information and new features, enhancements, and fixes found in the ShoWorks 2006 update patch.

Attention ShoWorks 2003 Users:  Update patch 10.08.1 was released on 02/05/05. No further updates or maintenance is provided for ShoWorks 2003.  ShoWorks 2006 is now the current program (refered to as version 11.xx).  Click here for more information about upgrading to ShoWorks 2006.  If you are receiving a notice that a new update is available and do not wish to upgrade to ShoWorks 2006 at this time, and have already ran the 2003 update above (10.08.1), then you must disable the "Allow automatic Web Check-up" option found under Tools>>Options within ShoWorks 2003 (after choosing 'No' to the notification).  Restart ShoWorks and you will be able to continue using ShoWorks 2003.
